CODE OF ETHICS
The members of The Mortgage Manager Advisors Pro, LLC (“MMAP”), believing that the interests of the public and private sectors are best served through the voluntary observance of ethical standards and practices, hereby subscribe to the following Code of Ethics adopted by the MMAP Board of Directors:
- HONESTY AND INTEGRITY. MMAP Directors, Officers and Members shall conduct business in a manner reflecting honesty, honor, and integrity.
- PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT. MMAP Directors, Officers and Members shall behave in a dignified and professional manner in all of their business activities.
- ONGOING EDUCATION. MMAP Directors, Officers and Members shall participate in a program of ongoing education on matters affecting the Real Estate Investment Industry.
- SHARING OF INFORMATION. MMAP Directors, Officers and Members shall share with their fellow members their knowledge and their expertise of our industry and shall respond positively to the desire of others to learn from them.
- SUPPORT LEGISLATION. MMAP Directors, Officers and Members shall support legislation in their community, state, and
nation that will encourage the success of ethical Real Estate Investors.
- TRUTHFUL COMMUNICATION. MMAP Directors, Officers and Members shall be truthful in all communications and
representations to clients, investors, lenders, and all parties to the real estate transaction.
- TRUTHFUL DISCLOSURES. MMAP Directors, Officers and Members shall provide full and truthful disclosures as directed by the regulatory agencies.
- TRUTHFUL ADVERTISING. MMAP Directors, Officers and Members shall be truthful and accurate in all advertising
and solicitations.
- COMPLIANCE WITH LAW. MMAP Directors, Officers and Members shall comply with the laws and regulations of all State or Federal agencies that regulate the practice of the real estate industry.
- HONOR AGREEMENTS. MMAP Directors, Officers and Members shall attempt to put all agreements into written form but
shall abide by agreements they have made whether written or oral.
- FAIR LENDING. MMAP Directors, Officers and Members shall, in the selection of clients or employees, not discriminate on
the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, marital status, sex, physical characteristics, or age.
- PRIVILEGED INFORMATION. MMAP Directors, Officers and Members shall treat all client information of a personal or financial nature as private and privileged.
- PROMOTING COMPLIANCE. MMAP Directors, Officers and Members shall report fraudulent and unethical practices to the proper authorities.
